Thompson's Pharmacy robbed at gunpoint
Shorewood - North Shore Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the man who robbed Thompson's Pharmacy, 1421 E. Capitol Drive, shortly after 1 p.m. Jan. 2.
According to police, only the pharmacist and a clerk were in the store when the suspect entered. He is described as a black man between 20 to 30 years of age, wearing a black jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt under the jacket, a knit cap, blue jeans, tennis shoes and having a scarf across his face. The suspect had a chrome or silver handgun and handcuffed both the employees.
He left with money and narcotics and entered a dark four-door 1997 to 2003 Chevrolet Malibu that did not have license plates. The car was in the rear parking lot, and there was no other occupant.
The car fled on Capitol Drive.
